The FKA900 wood cooker boiler stoves give most of their heat to water (16kW nominal) and a relatively low amount to the room (4kW). A thermal top cover is available to reduce the heat to the room and concentrate the heat to the boiler which makes this woodburning stove suited to relatively well insulated houses where other range cooker stoves might overpower the room. The De Manincor FKA900 wood boiler stove is thermostatically controlled which means that you can set the desired heat output and the woodburning stove does the rest by regulating the fierceness of the fire by controlling the air supply to the firebox.
The De Manincor FKA900 wood cooker stove is suitable for connection to an accumulator tank and can easily be linked in to a system incorporating solar. The FKA900 boiler stoves can be connected to open vented systems or, if you order the CS exchanger upgrade, you can install the woodburning stove to a pressurised system.
We strongly recommend that you use either a load unit or a Centraliser as this will help you get the most from your stove and increase the lifespan of the boiler.
When you choose a De Manincor FKA900 wood cooker boiler stove from us then we will provide you with installation and chimney design, advise you on the overall planning of your heating and hot water system (including the integration of solar), and our heating engineer can advise and liaise with your heating engineer to ensure a smooth install.
