Abel

Abel

£2,735.00

The Abel is the latest model from Duroflame and has all the efficiency, build quality and good looks that we’ve come to expect from this manufacturer. The curved shape and clean lines, coupled with hidden controls and a top flue outlet, give it the appearance of an elegant woodburner, albeit one that lights itself, feeds its own fuel and automatically turns itself down as the room comes up to temperature.

The 5kW output is perfect for most situations and a 95% efficiency ensures that it will give the maximum amount of heat from the minimum amount of fuel. Here is a clean and simple way of bringing the pleasure and cosiness of a real fire into your home and reducing your reliance on fossil fuels at the same time.

Duroflame stoves have an 80mm rear flue outlet. This should be connected to a standard 90° Tee (Rhinus, Pelle, Batavia, Carre, Ben) or to Truncated 90° Tee (Rembrand). The first vertical length must have a door to provide easy access for sweeping with the Tee cap providing access for soot removal.

The usual configuration from the stove is an 80mm 90° Tee, an 80mm to 100mm adaptor and a 100mm straight length with door. Where the flexible liner or a twin wall system connects to the rigid flue it should utilise a 100-125mm flex adaptor or twin wall adaptor. Duroflame recommends a chimney diameter of no more than 125mm.
